A Discussion of Details
The Tailored Twig floral design team worked with Allie and Tim to create a breathtaking Powel Crosley Estate wedding in a palette of pink. The first design element was a floral arch for their Sarasota wedding ceremony structure. The original sketch captured a wedding arch created of natural wood elements draped with a soft rope of greenery and dotted with beautiful blooms. This one beautiful creation influenced the hand tailored floral creations that flowed through the rest of Allie and Timothy’s wedding day. The final creation, taken from the original inspiration, included two large vessels to anchor the wedding structure. The thin metal framed arch was woven with natural branches and draped with a thick, lush rope of willow eucalyptus that swayed in the gentle breezes blowing off the water. The luxurious rope of greenery was accented with several giant pink King Protea and clusters of roses in a variety of shades of pink with touches of greenery in softer tones. The floral swag trailed effortlessly across the ceremony structure, creating the perfect backdrop for Allie and Tim’s waterfront wedding ceremony. Additional decorative elements of the wedding ceremony continued the design concept of the original inspiration sketch. Rustic wooden church pews were adorned with nosegays of roses and snapdragons in hues of pink attached with a satin ribbon. Metal wire urns marked the beginning of the aisle, overflowing with astilby, roses, snapdragons, and protea in a color story of pinks, accented with dusty miller and eucalyptus. Our Tailored Twig design team loved working with Allie and Tim and taking one simple sketch of a wedding structure, bringing it to life and carrying the vision throughout their wedding day.
