A Discussion of Details
Our Tailored Twig design team loves working with couples to design beautiful focal points and ceremony structures for their wedding day. In many cases, especially where the couple’s wedding ceremony and reception are in the same location, these hand tailored design elements can be repurposed to highlight the sweetheart table or wedding cake. Lux And Intimate Marysse and Bradley’s luxurious wedding was hosted at the beautiful Sage restaurant in downtown Sarasota. Their intimate wedding ceremony was held on the rooftop with spectacular views of the Sarasota skyline. Their rooftop wedding ceremony was dressed in gold, with gold chivari ballroom chairs and two tall brushed gold metallic trumpet vases flanking the couple as they exchanged their wedding vows. The trumpet vases overflowed with spectacular florals that included pink and white roses, spray roses, lilac and astilbe. During the couple’s cocktail reception, the two gold vessels were relocated to the reception space where they were placed on either side of the rustic wooden sweetheart table. Romantic and Rustic at the Rialto Chelsea and Matt’s wedding at the iconic Rialto Theatre in the historic Tampa heights section of Tampa began with the couple exchanging their wedding vows under a rustic trellis. This romantic, yet rustic creation combined gold columns with a distressed wooden trellis, a thick garland wound its way around the structure. The garland included seeded eucalyptus, burgundy roses and striking king protea, a theme that was carried throughout the wedding. As the room was transformed for the evening's wedding reception, the ceremony structure was repurposed as a beautiful focal point over the couple’s sweetheart table. Monochromatic and Memorable The Oxford Exchange was the location of Jenny and Jeff’s Tampa destination wedding. This wedding’s décor included a traditional Jewish wedding ceremony in the venues glass covered conservatory. The room had a black and white checkerboard pattern floor that was set with high gloss black chivari chairs. Tall gold vessels were filled with lush monochromatic white florals which were placed along the center fountain as a décor element and then later placed atop long reception tables. Repurposing elements of your wedding ceremony décor is an excellent way to add an additioanal focal point and luxurious details to your wedding reception.
