A Discussion of Details
Our Tailored Twig design team always enjoys working at the Ritz-Carlton Sarasota and Madison and Shane’s incredible wedding was certainly no exception. Madison looked stunning in her white halter neck wedding gown and her deep navy blue pumps and clutch. They were a beautiful accent and a great contrast to her hand tailored bridal bouquet. Her amazing bouquet combined dark eggplant call lilies, cymbidium orchids, burgundy clematis, burgundy red charm peonies and striking black scabiosa. Our Tailored Twig design team created unique boutonnieres for Shane and the groomsmen, that were designed to be worn horizontally across the top of their pockets. Black scabiosa, clusters of privet berries and tips of Star of Bethlehem made a bold statement. Prior to their wedding ceremony, Shane made his way to the gazebo at St. Armand’s Key Lutheran Church, for their first look. This beautiful outdoor space had been set with a deep burgundy vintage love seat which was draped with fall greens. The area was adorned with a swag of florals hanging from the trellis and an arrangement next the love seat. The perfect location for a first look and some special photos. The church’s interior was fully decorated for Christmas, so a few simple touches including nosegays of white floral on the first few pews and a altar arrangement in deep burgundy, pink and white completed the look. After Madison and Shane exchanged their wedding vows they returned to the gazebo for some photos with their wedding party and family. The bouquets carried by Madison’s eight bridal attendants popped with beautiful white anemone with dark centers, ivory Vendela roses and touches of blush and burgundy. The couple and their wedding party made a stop at the Ringling bridge for some group photos while family and guests made their way to the Ritz-Carlton’s Healing Garden for Holiday Moscow Mules, Champagne and butler passed hors d’ oeuvres. As guests made their way into the Ritz-Carlton Ballroom, the entrance was marked with tall mirrored columns printed with seating assignments. Clusters of ivory pillar candles surrounded the panels with floral boughs across the tops. Inside, the ballroom was completely draped in soft flowing white fabric. Eclectic seating arrangements combines more class chair stiles with modern acrylic chairs, and tables draped in rich dark blue linen with long glass tables. Crystal chandeliers and large floral chandeliers of bright red flowers and greenery were suspended in the center of the room, above the large white dance floor. Each table held a unique tablescape. Some of the tables held tall modern class candelabras with white taper candles, while others were set with chucky cream pillar candles perched on gold branches. Collections of hand selected vessels held floral arrangements of burgundy florals intermingled with flickering candles. Gold rimmed glass charger plates, gold flatware and custom menu cards completed the elegant table designs. Across the ballroom, creamy gold vintage seating with burgundy and blue accent pillows sat next to gold and glass occasional tables that held beautiful centerpieces continuing the color story throughout the ballroom. Madison and Shane kicked off their reception with their first dance under a canopy of shimmering lights, suspended burgundy floral arrangements and greenery. Their glass sweetheart table and elegant love seat were nestled between their wedding party tables, along the edge of the dancefloor. Several special toasts, a delicious dinner and packed dancefloor led to the couple cutting this spectacular four-tiered wedding cake dressed with a cascade of burgundy and blush florals. The evening didn’t end there; the newlyweds and a large number of their guests made their way to an afterparty with never ending dancing and some late night snacks. Congratulations Madison and Shane! Thank you to the incredible wedding professionals who were part of this special day. We know you will absolutely adore the soft, lush pink and white floral décor our Tailored Twig design team created for Miya and Glenn’s fairytale wedding at The Lake Club at Lakewood Ranch. Miya looked stunning in a long, full lace ballgown with a long flowing veil. Her bridal bouquet was hand tailored with beautiful white dahlias, Ester light pink roses, white ranunculus, lilac, campanula and snapdragons. These striking florals flowed over into the bouquets for her bridal party and the flower girl’s basket. As guests were transported to the wedding they were greeted by an enormous welcome sign that was framed in dozens of white roses. This was a detail that set the tone for things to come. The lakefront lawn was set for Miya and Glenn’s spectacular outdoor wedding ceremony. A lawn filled with clear acrylic chairs led to a series of incredible ceremony structures. Four modern rectangular risers overflowed with pink and white flowers, framing the space where the couple would exchange their wedding vows. The backdrop was a large, open, four-sided arbor draped in billowing white fabric. The front side of the arbor held an incredible cascade of pink and white florals that continued the color story and surrounded the couple. The Lake Club ballroom was set to create an enchanting space for the couple’s wedding guests. During the cocktail hour Miya snuck away for a sneak peek at her fairytale ballroom and we’d say she was a little more than excited! The ballroom was dressed in pink and white with incredible gold accents. Gold framed chairs, gold rimmed china and footed gold vessels filled with pink and white florals made the design pop. Floating candles in glass containers, crystal bud vases and modern glass candelabras brought candlelight and a sparkle to the ballroom. An entire wall of the ballroom was draped floor to ceiling in luxurious white fabric, framing the sweetheart table and the couple’s four-tiered wedding cake. The focal point of the design was Miya and Glenn’s sweetheart table. The ornate white table and tufted love seat sat under a four-sided arbor draped in pink fabric. A glistening crystal chandelier hung behind the newlyweds with a floral canopy hanging directly above their heads. A floral swag trailed off one end of the table with crystal bud vases of flowers and glass votive candles filling the table. The four risers overflowing in pink and white flowers where moved inside to frame the sweetheart table. The bride and groom were completely surrounded by a sea of Marianne anemone, pink astilbe, white hydrangea, snapdragons along with David Austin and Sweet Eskimo roses. Guests danced the night away and enjoyed incredible food stations before Miya and Glenn cut their wedding cake. A round gold toned cake riser and beautifully appointed bud vases surrounded this monogrammed pink and white marble creation. Congratulations Miya and Glenn!
